Adblade Provides Premium Products for Ad Distribution
I have tried many different types of online display advertising, but it was Adblade’s cutting-edge product offerings that got me the leads and conversions I needed. Beyond doing standard PPC, and CPC, Adblade also has created three innovative ad types: Newsbullets, article marketing and Adcast advertising.
The Newsbullet is an ad that looks like branded content on the news site, and gets interested buyers clicking to find out more. Adblade’s network includes 400 of the highest quality websites in America and with one ad buy, I can reach from 120-140 million unique users in the United States, on premium top-tier news sites like MSNBC, Fox News and USAToday.
In addition, Adblade offers article marketing to stir up interest in my product. Articles about my business are distributed on high traffic sites like Adblade’s smarterlifestyles.com. This helps to educate my audience about my company and what we have to offer. AdCast is another groundbreaking type of advertising offered by the company. Adcast ads are unscrollable, time-controlled videos with sound, that can be placed either at the top, bottom, left or right of the publisher’s webpage. These ads have 100% guaranteed visibility, yet do not obscure the content of the website.
With Newsbullets, article marketing and Adcast ads targeted on a network of 400 of the top websites in the USA I get the audience reach I need to have a successful and cost-effective ad campaign.
Google Updates PageRank May 27th, 2009
Today Google updated PageRank which was exciting for me as I have about 50 web properties that were in desperate need of some PR. Since Google updated PR here are 3 reasons why your PageRank matters:
Google Really Cares About PR
PageRank is determined by the quantity and quality of back links pointing back to your site. Think about it like this, your pagerank is Google’s way of classifying how important or relevant your site or article in question is. The higher your PR the more “expert” google considers your site.
Your site has a better quality score
If you are purchasing traffic via Adwords or the like, there are factors that are taken into account when ads are to be displayed. If you have a page with high PR and try to purchase traffic to the page you are more likely to get a higher position in the ad results and you will be rewarded by paying less than you normally would to get such a position. Why? All because google considers your ad relevant because the content is relevant.
It’s easier to rank for higher competition keywords
If Google grants your site a high PR this will make your life easier trying to rank for higher searched, more competitive keywords in your niche. This will ultimately lead to more traffic which should increase sales, clicks, & conversions.
This is a quick overview of why pagerank is important, however, there are plenty more reasons why you should focus on getting your pagerank up and more back links to your site(s). What are some of your tricks to getting your PR up quickly?

News Now Launched
Me and a few of my buddies have started a ‘What’s Hot’ site called News Now that talks about anything and everything you can think of. Bottom line, if it’s being talked about we will write about it. The interesting thing about this project is that we are basing all of our stories off of Google’s Search Engine Hot Trends which updates 4-5 times every hour with the top 100 searches across the Google Search Network.
This has really enabled us to make relevant posts and start seeing pretty decent traffic the day after we write these posts. Couple that with some social media marketing (posting links on niche related blogs & forums, facebook, myspace, technorati, etc), a Digg release, and video branding coupled with proper keyword research, engaging, keyword-rich articles, and a little luck the sky is the limit for NewsNow.
We officially launched News Now on January 20th, 2009 (only 3 days ago) and have seen 169 visitors with over 44% coming from organic search engine traffic averaging 2.51 pageviews and an average time of 2:59 on the site. See the image below for further information.
